OPINION: SPRING W/ SKECHERS (PART II)

Continuing the series with
another pair of...

...literally the most comfortable pair of sandals I've ever owned (yes I know I said that about the other one but I think these might be it for sure). This pair--Hemisphere from the Indulge collection--required no breaking-in and the cushion from Skechers' luxe foam design truly helped my feet from aching as they walked up and down my large campus. The design is quite simple, yet the black straps are placed perfectly so that my feet aren't constantly shuffling and forming blisters. These sandals also accommodated for my wide feet which I thoroughly enjoyed!

Extremely versatile and with lasting comfort, I'd give this pair an A! Hop on over to skechers.com to shop for your own pair, Click HERE to see Part I of my series with Skechers.

OPINION: SPRING W/ SKECHERS (PART 1)

When comfort meets style...

I've had the awesome pleasure of working with Skechers last year for their fall collection (check out the article HERE). I'm back with the team again with a feature on the new Cali spring collection and can I just say that these sandals are quite possible the most comfortable shoes I've ever placed my feet in?

The pair I'm wearing in this post is the Sweet Tooth design from the Indulge collection. Not only does it match well with almost any outfit you'd style for the spring, but it also provides a lasting comfort that doesn't require any breaking in. The luxe foam padding truly makes for its great quality and I was greatly pleased that the sandals offer such luxury (especially if I plan on wearing them around all day).

Skechers definitely does not disappoint! Check out the collection online HERE and stay tuned for Part II of this series featuring another equally comfortable and stylish pair of sandals!

A FLOWER FOR YOU:

How many different ways can I style a dress?

 LOOK 1:

 LOOK 3:

I love online shopping--seriously, it's an addiction! My favorite sites include those which offer free shipping (ya'll know me and my frugality) and of course, offer a wide variety of clothing items that match my sartorial needs. I often visit choies.com to check out what's new in their "for sale" category; I also occasionally enter their Free Trial Center giveaways in which customers can have a chance to obtain the latest trends...for FREE. So, when I finally received an email stating that I'd won the dress worn in the photos above, I literally screamed with excitement!

While I had to write a short review for the flower-print dress, I thought it'd be a good idea to style it in a couple different ways. I hope it can inspire you for your future fashion endeavors, especially for this upcoming summer season.

Which look do you prefer?

SPRING INTO A NEW SEASON:

Just a couple more weeks until
Spring is officially here...

Yay! My favorite season is just around corner this year! At least the weather down here in La Jolla has agreed to this transition. I absolutely love layering and with the new climate, dressing up sure feels like a breeze.

For this outfit, I chose to wear a feminine piece with a slightly more masculine denim jacket. The fit is very large and loose, which creates a perfect balance for the fitted dress underneath. This dress is actually very versatile--I pair it in the winter with a comfy knitted sweater and knee high boots. Of course, I added in some black tights and my finally broken-in Doc's, which have been doing me so good lately. I wear these babies almost everyday!

Hope the weather treats you well from wherever you hail! And good luck to all studying for finals...
